The Best Buddies clubs from San Clemente, Dana Hills and Tesoro high schools and the Boys & Girls Club of the South Coast Area are joining the San Clemente High dance team and Regional Occupational Program and International Baccalaureate dance classes for a Dance-a-Thon fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the outdoor theater of La Plaza Park on Pacific Coast Highway in Dana Point.

Other activities will include a farmers market and a craft fair including items made by members of the Best Buddies clubs.

A portion of proceeds will go toward air conditioning in a room at San Clemente High School where many special-needs students have dance-therapy classes.
